Okay, I’m willing to believe there was a Navy Seal unit raid on the mansion in Abbottabad, Pakistan, which is a stones throw from one of their largest military bases. I’m also willing to believe that they killed three Muslim men and one woman. There is enough media hype and cyberspace chatter to be convincing. […]

Ding dong, the evil terrorist is dead! That’s what the administration is telling us. On May 1, 2011, the Navy Seals, during a daring raid in Pakistan, shot Osama Bin Laden in the head while he was resisting capture in his bedroom. Of course no one can interview the seal team. That’s understandable because their […]
I stumbled on this blog called “Marlena’s Excellent Judaica” which is a vicious attack upon all Jews everywhere. The blog description reads, “This blog is companion to Marlena’s Musings. Its main thrust: To explain and celebrate the great similarities between Mormons and Jews study how righteousness triumphs over adversity. Find here stories of courage and […]
The simple concept of “What will people think?” when we get ourselves ready to go out in public has far reaching consequences. The images we project have profound unseen impact. Those who put individuality ahead of concern for maintaining a good name and reputation are in for a rude awakening. Find out why.
So this is what the home stretch looks like a few days before Passover. To be honest, I never paid as much attention to it before; meaning that it has never had the same feel, like time is running out and I gotta do something spectacular to make this the most fantastic year ever. There’s […]
It has been about two weeks since Hamas launched their latest attack of murder and mayhem and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are still bombing strategic targets in response. I don’t know what these nightly air raids are accomplishing other than feeding the Arab propaganda machine, although the goal is to destroy the Hamas rocket […]
After posting a comment on an Arab Palestinian blog, the owner and I exchanged a few words: RamallahOnline.com: I see you totally ignored the fact that Israel has lobbed 1000’s of rockets, yes the real ones at Gaza since 2009. Plus, according to your blog you are a holistic health healer of 31 years, and […]
Rod Serling, the writer, director and producer of the popular weekly show called “The Twilight Zone” would appear on camera as the narrator and would say that we all live in a world of imagination and can easily take a wrong turn and step off into the “Twilight Zone.” Little did we know then that Mr. Serling was describing the future post 9/11 world of political correctness. Thus, if he were alive today his narrative would read something like this:
Your are in the Twilight Zone. This is the world of fantasy where terrorists are called “militants” and the war against terror is not a war against the fundamentals of Islam, but a war against a small minority of one hundred million fanatics who “hijacked a peaceful religion”. This is the world of bizarre twists and convoluted turns where murderers and thieves are rewarded with the property of their intended victims and the “road map to peace” requires total surrender to homicidal lunatics.
This is the world beyond reality where atheists pray to themselves in the “Church of Non Belief”. This is the world of imagination in which the officiators of marriages declare, “I now pronounce you husband and husband.” This is the world of denial where threats of genocide are met with open borders and entitlements for all who chose to enter that “unseen” place in the realm of human reflection where right is wrong and left is right.
An Arab from Gaza and a self-confessed member of Hamas once asked me, “How can we have peace?” I though it was a strange question coming from a terrorist. When I asked him if he was ready to recognize Israel’s right to exist, he answered, “There is no such country as ‘Israel’; there is only Palestine, my country.” That’s why negotiating peace with Hamas or any other Arab faction is a fool’s errand. In this man’s mind, Israel’s right to exist is not an issue because there is no Israel; there is just a large, well-armed group of space-occupying Jewish squatters, who deserve death. Furthermore, every U.S. president keeps saying the same mantra, “They [Palestinian Authority] must recognize Israel’s right to exist.” Correction; they must first recognize that Israel exists. Actually, somebody forgot to tell all of the politicians that we Jews don’t need their permission to exist as a nation; G-d gave that to us at Mount Sinai.
When I was a kid in the 50’s, my favorite TV show was “Howdy Doody”. The cast of characters was a speech making puppet named Howdy Doody, Buffalo Bob the cowboy cheerleader, Clarabelle the mute clown with a honker horn and the peanut gallery. It’s just like modern day politics. Every time the U.S. and its allies speak about Hamas as participants in the political process and condemn Israel for defending herself, I fell like I’m going insane. But it must be alright, because Howdy Doody says that everything is as it should be, the buffalo man is prompting us members of the peanut gallery for agreement and the dumb clown just gave us two blasts on his honker horn.
We have a new scandal that seems to be receiving very little attention in the press with no palpable response from the public or from government officials. Until a couple of days ago people believed that CT scans were safe and used less radiation than X-rays. Now we are finding out that the opposite is true and that thousands of people are needlessly suffering hair loss, nausea and vomiting and the possibility of developing brain cancer.
In medicine “fuzzy logic” rules. This is a world in which black and white is just theory and reality is multiple shades of grey, with guesswork based on past experience and unpredictable outcomes. The political leaders of our society work the same way. They make decisions based the fuzzy logic of probable outcomes and hope that their approval ratings won’t tank.
We used to say the two biggest lies are “The check is in the mail” and “It won’t hurt a bit.” Now, there is a third biggest lie, which is, “We have the best health care system in the world,” as Bill Clinton and George Bush uttered repeatedly during their respective terms. On the other hand, all of the standard measures of health care quality points to ours as being “the best substandard price-gouging health care system in the world”. Find out what’s really wrong and why no one wants to fix it.
The 4th of July, is more than fireworks and barbecues. It is time when we need to remind ourselves that we the people have the power and that it is not up for grabs. In this article, we shall look at the shameful scam of the health care reform bill and the nefarious conspiracy of mind control with mass marketing of antidepressants and tranquilizers. We need to smell what our political leaders are shoveling at us.
