Taking out Terror—yet again

Authors

It started with the brutal horrific stabbing of the Fogel family of five in Itamar; then a bus bombing in Jerusalem killing one woman and injuring 30 others, followed by a rocket attack from Gaza against civilian neighborhoods in Southern Israel. The British press chimed again accusing Israel of committing war crimes spewing lies about Israeli soldiers using teenage boys as human shields in a house-to-house search for Hamas terrorists. Their evidence for the report was a video of three teenage Arabs who told a story. There was no corroboration, of course, but the Guardian reported this as factual. Then they accused Israel of using armed drones to target civilians, but the only evidence they have is that the IDF has drones patrolling over Gaza and the uncorroborated statements of a few Arabs speaking about civilians being killed in the Israeli military responses to the Hamas rocket attacks.

To continue, Israel’s response to the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip seems weak with the air force planes firing rockets at abandoned military targets, making a lot of noise and smoke, but not accomplishing much of anything except giving the Arabs another reason to lie about the Israelis targeting hospitals and civilian homes. There is a lot of talk from the antisemitic British press about civilian casualties being at 1,400, but no one can seem to find more than a few dozen bodies. If there was such carnage, is there anyone out there stupid enough to believe that the Hamas terrorist and their friends in the British press wouldn’t show the bodies to the world? Where are they?

Meanwhile, the carnage in Israel is real. There are no lies about civilian casualties, just bloody bodies of three children and their parents lying dead in their home and bloodied broken people being pulled out of an exploded bus. Hamas fires rockets from civilian neighborhoods to provoke a military response from Israel. The IDF strikes back with precision weapons at token targets being careful to minimize the loss of life and our people are being branded as war criminals all over the internet. When it comes to the IDF, military operations are not the problem; it’s the politicians fighting a war they can’t win—the war of propaganda and public opinion. Why should they continue to try? The Jewish people and HaShem know the truth, and that’s all that matters.

Of course, the United Nations is already demanding a ceasefire, which is another word for surrender to terror and hope they won’t hit us again. No wonder the Lubavitcher Rebbe called it the “House of Darkness.” Then the current unnamed leader of Hamas lost no time in getting in front of the TV cameras and said, “Israel must pull out of Gaza and stop the blockade. Then we will talk.” Now there’s a big friggin’ surprise! That’s what happened in 2009 and their “talk” was more rockets being lobbed at Jewish homes. I hope and pray that Netenyahu doesn’t make the same mistake as all of his predecessors.

In conclusion, now the war is escalating and Israel can finally destroy the enemy’s capacity to wage more war, if the politicians will only let the soldiers do their jobs. May the Guardian of Israel keep them safe and bring us to total victory.

  1. Shalom, Politicians always hog tie I know that from experiance. I really thought Bi Bi would be different this time around, stronger somehow and ready to stand up more but he is one politician.

The politicians always think that they know what’s best for the Jewish people, but only G-d knows that and He already told us what to do–fight for the land and get rid of those who refuse to live in peace. The “House of Darkness” (UN) is already stirring. [Sigh] Let’s hope Bi Bi doesn’t wimp out like all the others.

Excellent post. Israel stands alone while the west concerns itself with Muslims in Islamic countries. As goes Israel so goes the west.

Yes, and the U.S. is making the biggest mistake in its 235 year history by trading self-serving dictators like Qaddafi for Muslim Brotherhood terrorists who are taking over all of the Arab countries to consolidate their nefarious power. Smells like Iran behind the scenes.
